On Sunday, November 29, we dedicated a Nativity scene in memory of Clinton MacDonald.
The custom of displaying nativity figures depicting the birth of Jesus Christ owes its origin to St. Francis of Assisi, who made the Christmas crèche or manger for Christmas Eve of 1223.
Here is a clip of a video taken by Ashley Pooley.
We bring the story of Christmas outside for all to enjoy.
The lights will be on and the fire blazing each evening from 6-8pm. You are welcome to come by and enjoy and Advent pause.
