I remember my cat Ruah.
And the friendly, farm dogs of my growing up years.
Our pets enter and change our lives.
With all the animals of creation we have kinship.

So, come on Sunday.
Bring your pet. (On a leash or in a carrier is a good idea!)
Or bring a picture of your pet.
Bring the memory of a beloved pet.

We will listen to scripture. We will offer a litany of blessing.
We will introduce our pets.
We will impart a blessing on pets and their humans.

It is a brief time of witnessing to God’s love for pets
and offering praise for the blessing of pets in our lives
and animals in our world.

And there are treats
for pets
and humans!
